I am General Secretary for YOUROPE – The European Festival Association. YOUROPE was founded in 1998 and is presenting the most popular and relevant music events in Europe – from multiscale open air to intimate boutique festival size. The overall aim of the association is to collaborate, share experiences and to pinpoint areas that would benefit from a joint approach.

I am co-founder and project leader of GO Group. GO stands for Green Operations. GO Group is an independent, pan European and cross industry think-tank to inspire people in the music festival and events industry to run their operations greener and smarter.
It was initiated by Bucks University (Teresa Moore), GreenEvents Conference, Green Music Initiative (GMI) and Yourope – The European Festival Association at the first GreenEvents Conference end of 2010.

I am part of the consortium of the EU funded Creative Europe project „GEX – Green Europe Experience“. I represent GO Group and Yourope in this 3-year long project with the festivals We Love Green (FRA), Pohoda (SLK), Dour (BE) and Boom (POR) as well as the UK-based NGO A Greener Festival. We rethink the production model & design of these events and create a new idea of the festivals of the future … That is what GREEN EUROPE EXPERIENCE is about.

I was project manager and co-creator of the pan-European campaign #WeVoteForEurope. It was the campaign of the European music festivals to engage our audience to use their right and vote in the European elections (May 23 – 26 2019). It was initiated by YOUROPE (the European Festival Association), inspired by TAKE A STAND and realised with the great support of Volume and Roskilde Festival.

I am project manager and co-creator of the pan-European campaign #WaveOfSolidarity. It is the support campaign of the European music festivals released on World Refugee Day 2020 to show our solidarity with refugees and civil sea rescue organisations. It aims to raise awareness within our audience and networks in a time where the issue can be easily forgotten. It was inspired by TAKE A STAND, initiated by Sea-Watch & YOUROPE (the European Festival Association), and realised with the great support of, Goodlive, PxP Embassy e.V. and Wacken Open Air.
